GoGrowth AI: Privacy Policy

GoGrowth AI is a shopping assistant that merchants install on their Shopify store. This page explains what the app stores and why.

What we collect from a store

• The store's name, domain, active products, and the guidance the merchant writes for the assistant.
• Orders are read only to count orders that contain items added from the chat. Customer names, emails, addresses and phone numbers are not stored.

What we collect from shoppers

• The questions typed into the chat and the assistant's replies, with the product page they were asked on.
• Which products were added to cart from the chat.
• The chat is anonymous. We do not ask for or store a shopper's name, email, phone number or address.

How it is used

To answer shoppers, and to show the merchant what shoppers ask and which chats lead to sales. Questions are sent to an AI model provider to generate answers. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

When a merchant uninstalls the app, access to the store ends immediately, and all data for that store is deleted when Shopify sends the shop data erasure request, 48 hours after uninstall. Merchants can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

Data processing terms

Merchants who install the app agree to our terms and data processing terms, under which GoGrowth processes store and shopper data only on the merchant's behalf.
